Throughout the course of this past week I had recorded my use of technology and was definitely surprised with the amount of time I used on technology overall. I had used my laptop for quite a lot of time listening to some jams, my lyrical life, on Spotify while I did my homework and studied. It definitely helps me concentrate and unwind while doing my homework so, I don't stress out about everyday stuff. I definitely used my phone for a greater amount of time during that week due to just starting to play words with friends which took hours of my days each day when people would continue to play back and I would just like to make sure it wasn't my turn. I check the time quite a bit because I am also keeping track of my day and how much time I have to do things as well as how long until I have to do something. I spend a majority of my time on technology listening to Spotify during my days which is relaxing and helps me focus. The total amount of text messages that I had sent was not even over 75 messages overall but I send snapchats every morning during the week to my friends to wish them good morning. So it's about an average of 20 snaps per day.

A lot of times I found myself multi-tasking by using my computer for music and doing homework like you said. The time really adds up even if we aren't looking at the screen 100% of the time, we're still using technology.
