Best $20.00 I have ever spent!
Alright,
first, let's go back to Friday of this past week. I was just trying to get all of my homework
done and I had gotten it all done just barely and was ready for a nap by the
end of the day. So, when I got back to
my dorm I was thinking about taking a nap but, I am a little too lazy to get
into my loft to take a nap sometimes.
I really
needed something I could relax and take a nap on without just going in my loft
to go to sleep. There is not room to
read on my loft at all, I am basically kissing the ceiling. I found out my hall director was leaving the
hall, on March 15th, to take up a different position in a sorority. I saw her that day and hugged her to say
goodbye. She then asked me if I wanted
to come and check out her little fire sale she was having in her
apartment. I went and checked out what
she all had, I bought a bag of shells for $2 and then saw the futon. She labeled the mattress $5 and then I
jokingly asked how much she wanted for the frame. She said, "fifteen bucks to make it an
even twenty. There is one catch it is
broken.” The hole for the screw was
stripped but it seemed like it could be fixed easily. I had said "I will have the money to you
tomorrow if that works but I picked it up today and fixed within 20 minutes of
getting it in my room.
The futon
mattress alone would have been super comfortable and the frame with it made it
a great deal that I couldn't resist. Not
only was it comfortable but, way more comfortable then the beds in the
dorms. Easily the best $20 dollars I
have ever spent for the value of the product.
